About us
Louisa Bijker has spent the past fifteen years travelling regularly to Sri Lanka. Her first mission, supporting a children's home close to Kandy, soon led to regular visits, uncovering and exploring the country. Within this time she has seen the island bloom and grow. Her love and intricate knowledge has paved the way for Palm Escapes.
Her aspiration; to create tailor made luxury holidays, sharing the very best of Sri Lankan culture with those visiting the island, offering them a truly authentic and enriching experience.
Giving back
Louisa is still involved in supporting Home of Hope, the children's home that first brought her to Sri Lanka. Over the years she has seen it grow, nurturing almost 500 children. It also serves local communities who benefit from the health and therapy centre, special needs school and library.
